२. ] SPIRITUAL LIGHT. सुखासुखं लक्षयतिसर्व भवेद् अन्यवशं हि दुःखं सर्वं भवेद् आत्मवशं च सौख्यम् । सुखासुखं वस्तुत एतदुक्तं गुणोऽत्र तत्त्वप्रतिपत्तिरूपः ॥ १२५ ॥
Dependence on others constitutes pain and selfdependence constitutes happiness. This is the real nature of pleasure and pain. The quality called Tatva-realization ( Pratipatti ) is manifested in this Stage. ( 125 ) વાસ્તવિક સુખદુઃખ
“પરવશતા એ દુઃખ છે અને સ્વવશતા એ સુખ છે, એમ તત્વદૃષ્ટિએ સુખ અને દુઃખની વ્યાખ્યા કરવામાં આવી છે. આ દૃષ્ટિમાં તત્ત્વજ્ઞાનને गुणु माविर्भूत थाय छे.”–१२५ या धारणाया विषये च प्रत्ययैकतानताऽन्तःकरणस्य तन्मतम् । . ध्यानं, समाधिः पुनरेतदेव हि स्वरूपमात्रप्रतिभासनं मतः ॥१२६॥
Dhyāna is defined as the concentration of mind on the object of fixed attention. Intensified Dhyāna is Samādhi or in other words the perception of only the pure nature of soul. ( 126 )
Notes :-When Dhāranā is practised, the mind remains attentively localized on a certain internal or external object. The mind progresses further and flows in an unbroken current towards the fixed point. When this concentration is further intensified by rejecting the external perception and meditating only on the internal part, i. e., on the object to be contemplated, such a state is called Samādhi.
