These high-minded persons who are intent upon observing the vow of celibacy ( in mind, speech and body. ) and to whom Indra, the Lord of the gods, humble with pure devotion, bows down, while taking his seat on the throne, are always victorious among mortals. ( 37 ). બ્રહ્મચર્યનું ગૌરવ –
જેઓને સ્વર્ગ પુરીને સમ્રાટ-ઈન્દ્ર પણ પોતાના સિંહાસન ઉપર બેસવા જતે પવિત્ર ભક્તિથી નગ્ન થઈને નમસ્કાર કરે છે, તેબ્રહ્મચર્યવ્રતમાં દ્રઢચિત્તવાળા મહાપુરૂષ મૃત્યુલેકમાં જયવન્ત છે.”-૩૭ ब्रह्मचर्यस्योत्कर्षःफलन्ति मन्त्रा वहते च कीर्तिरध्यासते सनिधिमप्यमाः । यस्मिन् सति प्रस्फुरितप्रभावे तद् ब्रह्मचर्य सुविचारलभ्यम्॥३८॥
Celibacy, by means of which the sacred Mantras fructify, the fame spreads over the Earth and even the immortals honour the chaste persons with their presence, is attained only by good thoughts. ( 38 ) બ્રહ્મચર્યને ઉત્કર્ષ–
“ પ્રદીપ્તપ્રભાવવાળું જે બ્રહ્મચર્ય રહેતે મન્ચને જાપ ફળે છે, કીર્તિ સર્વતઃ ફેલાય છે અને દેવતાઓ સહામે ઉપસ્થિત થાય છે, તે બ્રહ્મચર્ય સવિચારેની સતત શ્રેણીથી મેળવી શકાય છે.”—૩૮ ब्रह्मचर्यस्य प्राबल्यम्अस्थ्नां प्रभूतं बलमर्पयन्तं रक्तप्रवाहं प्रविकासयन्तम् । मुखे प्रतापारुणतां दधानं न कः सुधीब्रह्मयमं सुरक्षेत् ? ॥ ३९ ॥
