* અધ્યાત્મતત્વાક.
[ ત્રીજુંhood which creates (listrust among people, which produces wicked desires in the mind and which gives rise to powerful sins one after another. ( 27 ) અસત્યથી થતી ખરાબી - “અસત્ય લેકમાં અવિશ્વાસને ફેલાવે છે, અસત્ય દુર્વાસનાઓને અવકાશ આપે છે અને અસત્ય ધીરે ધીરે મહેટા દેષોને જન્મ આપે છે, એ માટે ધર્મશીલ મનુષ્ય અસત્ય બેલ નથી.”—૨૭ સત્યમ ગતિમા– व्रतानि शेषाणि वदन्त्यहिंसासरोवरे पालिसमानि धीराः । सत्यस्य भङ्गे सति पालिभङ्गादनगेलं तत् खलु विप्लवेत ॥२८॥
When wise persons believe all other vows to be embankments of the lake of non-injury, swerving from the vow of truthfulness, is pulling down the bank and then the waters ( of non-injury ) flow unchecked. ( 28 ) સત્યભગથી અહિંસાભંગ
શાસ્ત્રકારોએ સત્ય વગેરે વ્રતોને અહિંસારૂપ સરોવરની પાળ તરીકે બતાવ્યાં છે. આ ઉપરથી સમજી શકાય છે કે સત્યવ્રતનો ભંગ થયેથી અહિંસારૂપ સરોવરની પાળ તૂટી જાય છે, અને એથી અહિંસારૂ૫ જળ અર્ખલિત વહી જવા માંડે છે.”—૨૮
