સીમન્તક નરકાવાસ, મનુષ્ય ક્ષેત્ર, ઉડુ વિમાન અને સિદ્ધશિલા - આ ૪૫ લાખ યોજનાના વિસ્તારવાળા છે. અપ્રતિષ્ઠાન નરકાવાસ, સર્વાર્થસિદ્ધ વિમાન, જંબૂદ્વીપ- આ ૧ લાખ યોજન વિસ્તારવાળા છે. (૧૩૩)
Simantaka (the narakāvāsa of the first pratara of the first hell), Human world (2 islands and 2 oceans), Udu (Indrakavimāna) and Siddhasheelā (Huge crystal slab, above which the souls having attained salvation dwell), each are of 45 Lakh yojanās in diameter. અધોલોકમાં સાત પૃથ્વીઓને વિષે સાત ભાગ ૧-૧ રજું પ્રમાણ છે, તેમજ સૌધર્મ, માહેન્દ્ર, લાંતક, સહસ્ત્રાર, અશ્રુત, રૈવેયક, લોકાન્ત ૧-૧ રજુએ આવેલા છે. (૧૩૪)
There are seven hells below the Tirchhāloka. Each hell is one rāja thick. The eighth rāja is from the upper surface of Ratnaprabhā hell upto the ending point of Saudharma heaven. Ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth rāja are upto the ending point of Māhendra heaven, Lāntaka heaven, Sahasrāra heaven, Acyuta heaven, ninth graiveyaka and the Loka (world) respectively. (Thus according to Jainism the three worlds heaven, earth and hell are of 14 Rājās. Rāja = a unit of distance.) 134
