A DESCRIPTIVE CATALOGUE OF
प्रजापतिर्वामिदमेकमन्नमक्षितायुः पुरुषो जातमीश्वरोऽभिजायते नाकाशीकरणश्च चतुरुचो (?) भवति य एवं वेद य एवं वेद ॥ खण्डाः । ॥ संहितापनिषत्समाप्ता ॥
(अथ देवताध्यायप्रारम्भः pp. 359-362.) अग्निरिन्द्रः प्रनापतिस्तोमो वरुणस्त्वष्टाङ्गिरसः पूषा सरस्वती ॥
स्वस्ति देवऋषिभ्यश्च ब्रह्म सत्यञ्च पातु मामिति ब्रह्मसत्यञ्च पातु मामिति । देवताध्यायस्समाप्तः ॥
(वंशब्राह्मणप्रारम्भः 362-367.) देवान्यथापूर्वं तर्पविष्यामः । अनिस्तृप्यतु ब्रह्मा सोमश्शिवः प्रजा. पतिः * * * * * __ बृहद्वसुः गोभिलो गोभिलो(ला)देव गोभिलो राधाच्च गौतमात् [गोभिलो राधो गौतमः समानं परम् समानं परम् ॥ वंशब्राह्मणं समाप्तम् ।।
Tho scribe gives the date of the completion of transcription to be the 8th of Vaisakka of Bhava.

This Brāhmaṇa consists of ten parts, of which two contain the Mantras to be recited at marriages and other household cere. monies and are called Mantrakhanda ; and the remaining eight constitute what is called the Chándögyöpanişad.
