This consists of Suktas 112 to 114 of the IX Mandala of the Rg Vēda and also of No. 19 of the Khila-Sūktas printed in the appendix to the Rg-Veda, Max Muller's second edition. This Sūkta is an invocation upon the sõna plant. The name here given for the work is what is found in the margin thereof and seems to be inappropriate. Beginning:
नानानं वा उ नो धियो वि व्रतानि जनानाम् । तक्षा रिष्टं रुतं भिषग्ब्रह्मा सुन्वन्तमिच्छतीन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्त्रव॥
