Telugu. Condition, good. Transcribed for the Library in 1896. Contains the commentary of the PūrvaỊk and the Mahānãmnī.
A commentary on the Sāma Voda by Bharatasvāmi, the son of Nārāyaṇa and Yajñadā. He lived at Srirangam and seems to have been under the patronage of a king of the Hoysala family named Rāma to whose reign the anthor refers in the book and who reignod between 1272 and 1310, and the work under notice must have been composed about that period. The first two stanzas as given in the extract below do not occur in a manuscript of the work found in the Palace Library of Tanjoro. (This commentary has not been printed.)
The manuseript ends with the commentary of the Mahānâmnisaman.
