( ३० ) अस्ति यावत् तु सधनस्तावत् सर्वैस्तु सेव्यते । निर्घनस्त्यज्यते भार्यापुत्राद्यैः सगुणोऽपि सः
मव तक मनुष्य धनी रहता है तब तक सब से आदर किया जाता है। विना धनवाले को गुणी होने पर भी औरत लडके वगैरः छोड देते हैं।' ___ As long as a man has wealth, he is respected by all; but, deprived of his wealth., leis bandoned by his wife, &c. sons altho' possessed of other qualifications.
क्षणशः कणश्चैव विद्यामर्थं सुसाधयेत् ।। न त्याज्यौ तु क्षणकणौ नित्यं विद्याधनार्थिना ॥ हर हिहमा और थोडी सी भी विद्यारूपी दौलत अच्छी तरह हासिल करना चाहिए। लिहमा और कनका भी विद्या धन चाहने बाले को न खाना चाहिए।
The wealth of knowledge should be well acquired every moment little by little. A monient and modicum are not to be 'Wasted by a candidate of the wealth of knowledge.
असत्यता निष्ठुरता कृतज्ञता भयं प्मादो ऽलसता विषादिता । वृथाभिमानो ह्यति दीर्घसूत्रता
तथाङ्गनाक्षादि विनाशनं श्रियः॥ झूठ वेरहमी नाशुकर गुजारी डर गफलत सुसती झगडा झूठा गर्व बहुत काहिली वेश्यागमन जुआ आदि दौलत के वरवाद करने वाले हैं।
Falsehood, cruelty, ingratitude, fear, carelessness, indolence, quarrel, pride, sloth, 'adultery, gambling, &c. are the destroyers of wealth.
