The work is attributed in the concluding verses and the colophon to Ksemakarna in MSS described in Oxf. No. 481, IO. II. 1125 and Bik. No. 1101 as also in a MS belonging to the old collection of the Society while Meşakarna is the name of the author as given in the present MS (Fol. 13B). The present MS has some additional matters after the concluding verse at fol. 13B. It is curious that in place of the last colophon usually found in other MSS referring to the name of the author, the present MS states that it is an extract from the Sargitaratnākara,

The present MS which runs up to a portion of verse 108 covers fol. 1-12 with a line and a half of fol. 13A of the MS described under the previous number.
