An exposition in kārikā form of a sūtra which is attributed to God Siva himself. It is called Saugatasūtra as it constitutes, a reply to the enquiries by one Sugata into the nature and attributes of God Siva. The conclusion arrived at here is Advaita. Beginning :
केशाङ्करमठत्यक्षोदाररुत्साठजीवक । (?) नरामलालयामूका गोपालमिव ते स्तुतौ ॥१॥ (?)
