शब्दालोकरहस्ये शब्दानित्यतारहस्यम् । Then commences the Vidhivādarahasya :
... ननु वेदः साक्षादेव प्रवर्तयतु, किं दारेण ? भवतु दारं अन्यदेव किञ्चिदेव, भविष्यति यदि चेच्छां विनापि न प्रत्तेः विधिज्ञानानन्तरं चेच्छानुभूयते तदा सैव व्यापारोऽख किमन्तरालोकेन ज्ञानेन? तथाच प्रतिमूलत्वं वेदस्य प्रवर्तकज्ञानजनकत्वेन भवतीति कथमुक्तमित्याशझ्याह-प्रत्तिजनकत्वमित्यादि ।
