Substance, country-made paper. Folia, 34 (of different sizes). Lines, 6 on a page. Character. Bengali of the 18th century. Appearance, discoloured.
A vademecum of astrology. Beginning :
ॐ नमो गणेशाय । ज्योतिषसारो लिख्यते। अथ राश्यादिनिर्णयः। मेषरष
मिथुन कर्कटसिंहाः etc. Along with it, there is the last leaf of Pañcapakşisakuna.
Colophon :
इति श्रीश्रीमहादेवविरचितं पञ्चपक्षीशकुनं समाप्त ।

Substance, palm-leaf. 9x2 inches. Folia, 26 by counting; folia 5 to 7 having lost their leaf-marks are doubtful and so are the leaves 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26 (the last leaf). Lines, 5 on a page. Character, Bengali of the early 17th century. Appearance, old, soiled, effaced and worn-out.
It begins thus :
नमः सूर्याय । न स्वतन्त्र वर्मयुद्ध क्रौर्याध्वनृपैर्धनाध्यमुद्यमिनम् । ख्यातं बहुप्रताप्य शुभदरविदशा नवगुरुते ॥
