On the subject of divination, from planetary move. ment, of coming rain, famine, pestilence or plenty, and good health. Beginning :
अथ मयरचित्रकम् । उदयास्तगतं केतोर्गणितेन प्रकाश्यते । ज्ञातुं खं दिव्यभौमांश्च यतस्ते त्रिविधा मताः ॥ एकोत्तरशतं त्वेके सहसमपरे विदुः ।
एकच बहुधा भाति प्राह वै नारदो मुनिः ॥ 4B, इति केतुचारः समाप्तः ।
अथ ग्रहाणां योगफलमाह। रौनक्षत्रगावेतौ यदि सूर्यमहोसतौ।
मासं महाय॒तां यान्ति धान्यानि स्वस्थतां पुनः ॥ It ends :
त्रिघ्नः शको वियुक्तो भक्तो वेदैश्च शेषतः ।
विशेषप्रचुरा वृधिः समाके खल्पिका भवेत् ॥ This is to be differentiated from Mayūracittraku, as described in L. 2668.
6968. 769. व्यासस्मृतिः । Vyāsa.smrti. The MS. is noticed by Dr. Rājendralāla in 1567 under the title of व्याससिद्धान्त. But nowhere in the body of the manuscript the name is to be found except on the title-page "व्याससिद्धान्तप्रारम्भः" and on the left-hand upper margin throughout the MS. It professes to belong to the Vedānga section of Vyāsasmrti.
It has three sections : (1) Bhuvanakosa, (2) Siddhanta - kakşa, and (3) Golādhyāya.
