The work appears to be complete in four chapters. Only the last leaf of the fourth chapter seems to be missing in the present MS. The first chapter incidentally speaks of the rules of worship of the deity while the main purpose of the work is to describe the greatness of the goddess. The last three chapters have each a refrain for the verses in it. The author of the work is possibly identical with a Professor of the same name of the Calcutta Sanskrit College who published translations of the Bhāṣāpariccheda and Prabodhacandrodaya.
