The present MS has been described in L. II. 864. The work which was composed in 1770 V.S. is in one of the introductory verses stated to be an abridgment of the of Yuktabhavadeva (VSP., p. 251) of Bhavadeva, son Kṛṣṇadeva and author of a good many works on Yoga and other topics (Cat. Cat. I. 398, IO. IV. 2270, L. V. 1884), who wrote in the 16th century. The work is called Yogasarasamgraha in the colophon while Sarasamuccaya seems to be the name referred to in one of the introductory verses. The correct name may be Yogasārasamuccaya (Cat. Cat. II. 112).
