It contains the first eight ullāsas and a portion of the ninth. This constitutes an abridged version of the work of the same name published in the Vividhatantrasamgraha (Calcutta, 1881–86) of Rasik Mohan Chatterji and the Tantric Texts Series of Arthur Avalon. It begins, leaving out of account the introductory verse, at II. 50 and ends at XV. 118 of Avalon's edition. One chapter of the MS generally covers two chapters of the printed edition. Another version of the work is contained in a MS described in HPR. II. 85. A full account of the versions is given in Ind. Cult. III. 518ff.
