This deals with the details of the worship of gāyatrī, e.g., nyāsa, dhyāna, purascarana, etc. and describes the prayoga or procedure of the worship. An extract in the form of an interlocution between Nārada and Siva stated to belong to the Rgvidhāna is quoted at the end of the work. The present MS has been described in L. II. 900. Post-colophon Statement :
शके ११५ प्रमादौनाम संवत्सरे पौषकृयणत्रयोदशी सौम्यवासर तद्दिने इदं पुस्तकं ज्योतिषोत्यपनामगोविन्दात्मज-प्रभाकरदैवज्ञेन लिखितम्। खार्थं परार्थञ्च । इति गायत्रीब्रह्मकल्पप्रयोग[:] समाप्तः ।

One of the Folia explains the Vedic gāyatrī as an invocation to Siva while the other, in a mixed language, Sanskrit and Bengali, describes the rules for the muttering of the gāyatri, Vedic as well as Tantric.. Beginning :
पूर्वमेव गायत्री द्विविधा व्याख्याता। इदानौं प्रकारान्तरेण व्याख्यायते। हे धीमान् गायत्री धौर्बुद्धिर्मही स्थानं यस्या इति व्युत्पत्तिर्भर्गः शिवः नोऽस्माकं धियो बुद्धिवृत्तीः देवस्य भगवतः सम्बन्धे प्रचोदयात् प्रेरयतु भगवविषयकज्ञानं जनयत्वित्यर्थः ।
