The work deals with the morning duties of a worshipper and the details of the worship of Tripurā including a detailed treatment of the nyāsas. MSS of the work are described under different names in different catalogues, e.g. Gadyavallari (L. VII. 2261), Srividyāpaddhati (Bik. No. 1335), Kramottamapaddhati (Bik. No. 1283), Mahātripurasundaripādukārcanakramottama (10. IV. 2600). The MS described in L, which runs up to the end of chapter 3 of the Society's MS, constitutes, according to the last colophon, the first part of the Gadyavallarī, while the last colophon in the MS described in Bik. No. 1335, which is complete in four chapters, refers itself to the second part of it. Verses occurring at the end of chapter 2 of the present MS state
