The present MS contains the first four chapters and a very small portion of the fifth. IO. IV. 2596 and CS. V. 31 describe MSS containing chapters V-VIII and I - XI respectively. L. X. 3312 and Ulwar 2146. Extr. 625 describe MSS of the work complete in 20 chapters. The work deals comprehensively with the details of the worship of Tara with sections devoted to a number of other Sākta deities as well.

शिरोरुहनिवेशनाद्भवति जाह्नवीरूपष्टक् ।
विभाति हृदि कौस्तुभात्मकतया सतां यः सदा गुरोश्चरणरेणवे निरुपमाय तस्मै नमः ॥
