श्रीगुरुगण पत्यादिसर्बेर देवताभ्यो नमः । श्रीदक्षिणाकालिकाम्बायै नमः। अथ ग्रहप्राङ्गणैकदेशे प्रत्यङ्मख अजानुपादौ वा मणिबन्धौ वा प्रक्षाल्य आचम्य द्वारे स्थित्वा शुद्धोदकेन प्रणवेन हारं प्रेक्ष्य हां द्वारश्रियै नमः।

6320. 221. तारारहस्यत्तिका । Tarārahasyavrttikā. Substance, country-made yellow paper. Folia, 126. Lines, 6. Extent in slokas, 2,500. Character, Bengali. Date, Saka 1583. Appearance, old. Complete in 15 chapters.
The work deals with the details of the worship of Tārā. The present MS has been described in L. I. 512 where the work is wrongly stated to be a commentary on the Tārārahasya: Other MSS of the work are described in 10. IV. 2603, CS. V. 76 and VSP (p. 58). The real name of the author seems to be Sankara Agamācārya as given in the colophon of the India Office MS of the work. He is, however, generally represented as Sankarācārya of Bengal (Saikarācārya of Bengal-C. Chakravarti, Pravasi, 1340 B.S., Vaisakha, pp. 7-9). Colophon :--
