The work deals with the details of the worship of Kālí. A manuscript of the work, complete in seven chapters, is described in HPR. II. 224 where the date of composition is given as Saka 1699. Another MS, complete in five chapters, but presumably containing the same material, is described in Mad. T. (VI. 5122). One more MS, complete in five chapters and written in the Nāgarī script, is in the old collection of the Society (I.E. 28). The present MS contains only a portion of the work. We have in the present MS only one colophon (of chapter I) on Fol. 23B. Another work of Kāšīnātha belonging to the old collection of the Society is the Saparyāsāra.
