The work is called Varņakoşa in the first stanza and referred to by the same name in one of the introductory lines while the other, apparently through inadvertence, calls it Bījakosa. The work gives a list of words used in the Tantras to indicate the different letters of the alphabet. The present MS runs up to the letter a.

अथ वर्णकोष उच्यते। श्रीगणेशाय नमः । अथ बीजकोषः । नत्वा भगवतौं दृष्ट्वा श्रीविनायकसंहितां । तन्त्रोद्धारसुबोधाय वर्णकोषः प्रतन्यते ॥
