The present MS contains chapters 1-15 and 78 verses of chapter 16. The text is accompanied by the commentary of Sīrapāņi called Mantrayantraprakāśikā. A considerable portion of the text including the whole of chapter 5, however, has no commentary. Beginning of the commentary :
हयाननं हरिं नत्वा मन्त्रयन्त्रप्रकाशिका । शारदातिलके यत्नात् क्रियते शौरपाणिना ॥
इह ग्रन्थारम्भे विघ्नविघातकं देवताकीर्तनरूपं मङ्गलं कृतम् निबनाति नित्यानन्देति ।
