The MS contains only the 17th chapter of the work which is an epitome of Śankarācārya's Prapañcasāra. Other MSS of the work are described in Ulwar (2231. Extr. 647), CS. V. 50, IO. 2, 6144 and Mad. XV. 7940ff.

Appearance,
Two very old MSS of the work (one dated Śaka 1427 or 1505 A.D. and the other older still) are reported to be in the Library of the Dacca University (Indian Antiquary, 1926, p. 121).
This is one of the most popular Tantrik compilations. The following editions of the work may be mentioned: (1) Rasik Mohan Chatterji's edition published in his Vividhatantrasamgraha. (2) Litho edition with the commentary of Raghavabhaṭṭa (Benares, 1886). (3) Arthur Avalon's edition with the commentary of Raghavabhaṭṭa in two volumes (Calcutta, 1933). (4) Benares Sanskrit Series edition (Benares, 1934).
