This MS has been described in L. I. 470. It begins in the middle of the fourth Patala and runs up to the end of the seventh. The colophons of Patalas IV (fol. 1B) and V (fol. 3B) give the name of the work as Acāratantra.

L. II. 608 refers to a work of this name as a compilation and describes a MS which contains chapters 35-60. The old collection of MSS of the Society has a MS (No. I. G. 7) which generally agrees with the MS described in L and contains chapters 35-64 of the Uparibhāga section of the work dealing with Asauca, Prayaścitta and Vratas taken from various Purāņas. The last colophon in the latter MS attributes the work to Halayudha.
