The present MS, as does also the one described in L. V. 1743, contains chapters I-V. The work is also described in CS. V. 22, where no reference is made to the number of chapters, and in VSP where the work is called Urddhvāmnāyatantra.

Substance, country-made yellow paper. 17x4 inches. Folia, 12. Lines, 5 on a page. Extent in slokas, 210. Character, Bengali. Appearance, fresh. Complete.
The present MS contains 12 chapters. The work deals with the efficacy of the different mantras of Kālī (e.g. ककारमनु-2B, आकारमनु-3A, लकारमनु-3B, ईकारमनु-5A). It also lays down in brief the rules for her worship.
Beginning :-- श्रीपार्वत्युवाच ।
भगवन् सर्वतत्त्वज्ञ महाभूत परात्पर । नमामि नाथ देवेश भवन्तं जगदीश्वरम् ॥ त्वन्माया जगतौव्याप्ता यया संमोहिताः सुराः । त्वमेव जगतां कर्ता त्वमेव परमेश्वरः ॥
महाभूत उवाच ।
... ... ... ... ... एकैव शून्यरूपास्ति तस्याः सृष्टिकृतीच्छया । कालौ भवति सा साक्षात् सा नित्याप्यभिधीयते ॥
