स्वस्थपर्यायबोधार्थ ये शब्दाः सकृदीरिताः । नानार्थज्ञापनायैघ पुनस्ते समुदाहृताः ॥ क्रमविज्ञापका घर्णा युक्ताः शब्दार्थयोः पुनः। यद्वर्णशब्दा नो सन्ति संस्थिता स्तत्र बिन्दवः ॥ विष्णुः, अभावः, स्वल्पः, अकः । कलंकः, रूपकविशेषः, अंगं, चिह्न, रेखा, संग्रामः, भूषणं, रूपं, प्रकरणं, समीपं, कोड़ः, स्थानं ।

The author here makes an attempt to give the various meanings of words and these are arranged alphabetically. The meanings are written in single vertical column. It is indeed interesting to observe that the English equivalents of all the words appearing in the vertical columns have been supplied by a different hand, and the value of the Ms. is thereby enhanced to a certain exteut. The following colophon appears at the last page.
इति श्रीकाशीनाथ-पंडितेन्द्रविरचिते शब्दसन्दर्भसिन्धौ झकारतरङ्गः।
The author hiinself states at the beginning that he compiled this treatise at Benares. The Ms. is bound in book-form.
