मुकुन्द सच्चिदानन्दं प्रणिपत्य प्रणीयते ।
मुग्धबोधं व्याकरणं परोपकृतये मया ॥ ॐ नमः शिवाय इति नमस्कारसूत्रम्। शं शब्दैः। शब्दमङ्गलं स्यात् । इति प्रयोजनाभिधेय-सम्बन्धाः । अ इ उ ऋ लुक् ।।
The chapter ou definition and saudhi along with the brief exposition thereou ends in folio 12. Then comes the declension of nouus. The Subodhini commentary of Devicaraṇa Sarman runs side by side. It begins thus :
ज्ञानप्रद शिवं नत्वा श्रीदेवीचरणशर्मणा।
तायते मुग्धबोधस्य टीका शब्दसुबोधिनी ।। (Com.) उक्तानां घचनानां क्रमेणोदाहरणमाह सर्व इत्यादि ।
The brief exposition as well as the commentary abruptly end in the middle of causative forms.
