The Ms. begins and ends abruptly. It is written mostly in prose and contains the laws and procedures of the expiation on account of sin committed in previous life for its remedy. It is altogether a different version, on the subject. See HDS. Vol, I, pp. 382-83. The author Mandhātā is a son of Madanapala.

निबध्यते समासेन निबन्धोयं महार्णवः ॥ १६॥ दुःखकर्मपाकजनितामयकर्षितानां सत्कर्मशर्म करमितः तत्साङ्गजातमितरोक्तिविधानापेक्षं वक्ष्यामि । रोगितन तावद् वक्ष्यमाणसकलकर्मापयोगित्वेन कर्मविपाकेः रोगादिनिवृत्त्यर्थं प्रायश्चित्तादेरवश्यकर्त्तव्यता प्रतिपाद्यते ॥
