on Mitākṣarā

Substance: Country-made paper. Size: 8x44 inches. Folios : 2–89, 1–56. Lines : 25. Extent in granthas : 4320. Script : Nagara. Appearance : Bad. Incomplete.
The Ms. is worm-eaten throughout, It cannot be handled without further in-juring it. It contains 2 parts in 2 paginations. The Ist, part (fol. 2-89 ) contains an unknown com - mentary on the Mitäkṣara other than Balambhatti for a portion of the chap. on vyavahara beginning towards the beginning of the chapter and euding abruptly to-wards the end of the दिव्यप्रकरण.
The 2nd part (fol. 1-56) begins just after the दिव्यप्रकरण and ends abruptly towards the end of the chapter on vyavahāra. The commentary seems to be informative. Compare fol. 162 of our next Ms. no. 2826 with fol. 10 (Pt. II) of this Ms., which show both to be of the same author.

विशेषेत्यर्थः । तथा च व्यवहारान्नृपः पश्येदिति यत् तद् विद्वदुभिर्ब्राह्मणैः सह धर्मशास्त्रानुसारेण तादृशः स इति योजना बोध्या ।
