The Ms. begins abruptly with certain portion of the section on Upanayana (Sacred thread) and ends towards the beginning of the section on vivaha (marriage) ceremony. The Ms. does not contain any colophon but from the contents the name of the work and the author are ascertained. The book is printed. It refers to Sārāvali, Candeśvara and many other nibandhas and nibandhakāras.
Beginning: तु दर्शान्तः पृर्णिमान्तो वा। विशेषमाह चण्डेश्वरः ।
माघे द्रविणशीलाद्यः फाल्गुने च द्रुट(?)वतं । चैत्रे भर्वा - x वैशाखे कोविदो भवेत् ॥
End :
अश विवाहोपनयनादौ निषेधास्त उच्यन्ते। सारावल्यां। x x x x x विशेषमाह-नारदः।
प्रत्युद्वाहो नैव कार्यो नैकस्मै दुहितद्वयां नैवैकजन्मनोपु।
