The Ms. begins and ends abruptly. The leaves are marked with the letters "dana". It cantains laws underlying various gifts and offerings.

इति श्रीमांसकशङ्करभट्टात्मज-भट्टनीलकण्ठकृते दानमयूखे रूप्यादितुलादानप्रयोगः। १७०५ ज्ये। [Fol. 115 a.]
This shows the Ms. was written in Śaka or Sarnvat year 1705. As the writing is quite fresh, it is possibly the Saka year and not the Samvat one. Beginning:
-रस्व नाददीतेत्येव प्राकारकः ।
प्रत्यक्षस्तु निषेधो न प्रवर्तते अपहरणदशायां कस्यापि स्वरवाभावात् दातुः पुनरुत्पत्तौ तु मानाभावः।
End :
अग्निसाधं पूर्वकर्मविपाकोच्छेत्तुं यन्मम तत् सर्व नाश
