The Ms. contains a digest on the laws of शुद्धि or अशौच. The work स्मृतिमयूख of this author contains 12 ( twelve ) parts : 1 Samskara (said to be written by Sankara Bhatta, son of Nilakantha), 2 Acāra, 3 Samaya, 4 śrāddha, 5 Niti, 6 Vyavahāra, 7 Dāna, 8 Utsarga, 9 Pratisthā, 10 Prāyaścitta, 11 Šuddhi and 12 Śānti. The present ms contains only the 11th part on Śuddhi. See Kane and Gharpure about the author and the work. The main book in these twelve parts have been published separately part by part, by J. R. Gharpure, Poona and only the Vyavahāramayūkha by Kane. The Ms. wants fol. 1 only and begins abruptly but otherwise it is complete.
