He was the son of Visvesvara Sastri and Bhavans. He ori. ginally belonged to Benares and finally settled at Tanjore and was patronised by Shahaji, His works are: 1 Sabarájlyam (No. 6304) 2 Sabarajagabhäsarovarniol (No. 4235) 94. SEŞĀCALAKAVI. He was a famous Telugu Brahman and one of the grantees of Shaharajapura. The title Andhrapâqini was conferred upon him. He was rewarded with Kanakäbhipokam and a Palanquin etc. by Shābaji. He was the son of Venkatapatya mätya. His works are: 1 Kosalabhosallya (No. 4233) 2 Shibarījavilásam (Telugu). 95. GAJAVAIDYA. . He was a state doctor and he attended to the elephants at Tiruvälūr, where they were kept. He was a traditional doctor. The royal servants ill-treated him and he put in a petition in Sanskrit to the king, describing every thing in detail. It is termed an Kalividambanan (No. 4239). $6. VENKATAKBSNA. He was patronised by Sb&båji. His work is Sabdabhedani: rūpana (No. 5328) 97. NĀRĀYANAVIDVĂN. He was also patronised by Shabaji, His work is Shabarájapakyatramålå (No. 4236) 98. NARAHARYADHVARI. He was a contemporary of Rámabhadramakbin and was patronised by Sbåhaji. His work is şaddardipssiddhanta (No. 7631). For Private and Personal Use Only
