23. DHARMARĀJA.
He was a resident of Mapalur in Tanjore District. He had the title Sadbhāṣasarvabhauma. He was a disciple of Jña. nendra. His work is Darvikaraśikhāmaņibhāṣya.
24. CIDAMBARA KAVI.
He was the son of Anantanarayana, son of Süryanārāyaṇa of Kausikagotra. His works are
1. Kathātray (Nos. 3750-1)
2. Campu bhagavata (Nos. 4067-68)
3. Cidambaravilāsakāvya (Nos. 3777-80) together with his own commentary.
Raghavapandavayadaviyam, as its name indicates, describes the story of the Rāmāyaṇa, the Mahabharata and the Bhagavata, each stanza being so composed as to be capable of being inter preted in three different ways. This is also known by the name of कथायी ।
25. GURURAMAKAVI.
A native of Mülaṇḍragrama. He was the son of Svayam. bhūdīkṇita and the daughter's son of Rajanatha. He was a con. temporary of Appaya dikṣita. Nilakantha dikaita refers to him in his works.
His work is Subhadrādhanañjaya (Nos. 4532-3). Gururama is the author of many other works, like Hariscandracaritra campū, (written in 1607 A. D.) Madanagopalavilasa, Ratnesvara prasādana and Vibhagaratnamalika. The last work contains valuable historical information leading to the indentification of a number of authors who preceeded him.
