Subject: Stotraratnabbåşys, & commentary on Stotraratna
of Yamunācārya.
Remarks:- The Mo, is in a fairly good condition. There are six
stray leaves which deal with the same topic. Stotraratna is a work of the great Yamunācārya, the predecessor and Guru of Rāmāpuja, who is otherwise called Alavandār. The work is also otherwise called Ādavandâr Stotra mistakenly called Ālamandira stotra in the Guzrati translation of the work. The famous Vedāntadesika himself wrote a commentary on this Stotra and the work along with the commentary has been published in Višistādvaita Grantbaratnamåla at Madras. This Ms. contains & super commentary on Vedantadesika's commentary but this bad not been publisbed. It might be that this author is the same as the author of Siddaptaratnávall noticed under No. 7811. Yamunācarya was a contemporary of Ramanuja in his later years and so flourish. ed in the latter part of 10th and earlier part 11th centuries.
