These Mes. contain portions of the commentary on Vanaparva, Santiparva, and Anasāsanikaparva. He men. tions 2 naines of his prior commentators, Devabodha and Bhattasarvajña. The latter might be Sarvajñanáriyana. So his time must be subsequent to both of them. He is a north Indian. He also wrote a commentary on Harivansa, He calls himself the son of skåns.
