Besides the Vårttikas Sureśvara wrote commentaries on some of
the Minor works of Sankara, of which one is noted in this volume, Mānasollāsa, a commentary on Dakşiņā mūrti Stotra (No. 7249).
Among the other commentaries on Brahmasūtrabhâsya the
following are important and deserve mention,
1. Bhămati by Vācaspatimiéra (7070) 2. Ratcaprabhā by Govindānanda (No. 7091) 3. Šãrfrakanyāya Nirnaya by Anandagiri (No. 7095) 4. Brabmavidyābharaṇa by Advaitānanda (No. 7108) 5. Särirakanyāyarakşımaņi by Appayyadikşita (No. 7110)
Of the above writers Ānandagiri is the general Tikákára on all the works of Sankara, and Vācaspatimiśra and Appayyadíkaita have been mentioned in previons Vols of this catalogue. (Vide Preface to Vols. XI and XII),
Bhāmati was in itself commented upon by Amalānanda in bis Kalpataru (No. 7087), which was in its turn commented upon by Lakşminfsimha in his & bhoga (No. 7090). The last is not printed completely, the Catussūtri portion alone having been published by Sri Vāņi Vilās Press, Srirangam.
