कशनप्रबन्धनिर्माणधुरंधर महाव्रतयाजि श्रीमदप्पय्यदीक्षित मोदर्या श्रीमदाचादीक्षितपौत्रेणालंकारतिलकायनेक प्रबन्धनिर्मातुरप्पय्यदीक्षितस्य पुत्रेण भूमिदेवीनन्दनेन श्रीमदप्पय्यदीक्षित(तेन) विरचितायां तन्त्रसिद्धान्तदीपिकायां तृतीयस्याध्यायस्याष्टमः पादः ।

There can be no doubt about the authorship of this work Tantrasiddhantadipikā, when the colophon is read. The traditional story that Bhattojídikoita, the grammarian and pupil of the great Appayyadikgita I wrote it, has little foundation. The author of this work is Appayyadikita III, alias Cinnappayya, brother of the famous poet Nilakanthadrkaits, and adopted-son of his own paternal uncle, Appayyadikits II. Thus the author is a grandson of Accandikaita, brother of Appayyadikrita I. vide 'Tantrasiddhantadspikā by N. Aiyaawami bastry, pp. 247-250 Vol. II. Journal of Oriental Resourch, Madras.
The work is a reply to the critics of Appayyadíkaita I and the author seems to have written anothor Mimämsi work called' दुसहशिक्षा'।
