· A DEBORIPTIVE CATALOGU3 Oz Apadeva flourished in the beginning of the 17th century A. D. His Nyayaprakada is almost the only popular and first learnt manual of Mināmsä. He had two sons, Anantadeva and Jivadeva. The former commented upon his father's work in his Bhättalankära. Āpadeva's father, Anantadeva was a Vedantic writer.
The work has been printed in the Nirnayasagar Press.
