VOLUME I. Volume I describes in detail the Samhitas of the four Vedas and the bhāşyas thereon. There are 596 M88. dealing with the Samhitās of the four Vedas. Along with the Bg-Vedasambiti the Rg-Vedic Miscellaneous Süktas, the Rg-Vedasambitānukramanikās and Rg.Veda padapāthas are also noticed. Similarly, along with the Sāmavedasambitā, the Sámavodapadapäthas, the Simsvedagānas and their Adukramaņikās are described. After the Samhitās of the four Vedas the Samhitabhányas (Nos. 697-697) are noticed. This completes Volume I.
VOLUME II. The Second Volume begins with the Brāhmaṇas belonging to the various Vedas. Nos. 698-828 describe the Brāhmapas. The Brāhmanabbāøyas are then noticed (Nos. 829-859). After the various Brāhmaṇabhäqyas, the Āraạyakas are described (Nor. 860 -898). The Upanipads are then dealt with (Nob. 899--1420), They are classified according to the Veda to which they are attached, as is described in detail in the Muktikopanipad. Those that are not mentioned in the Muktikopaniqad are grouped under the general heading • Miscellaneous Upanipads.' Nos. 1421-1426 deal with a few Miscellaneous items belonging to the Brühmages and Upaniqade. Here ends the Second Volume.
VOLUME III. The Third Volume begins with the Bhüpyas on the Upaniyads - (Nos. 1427-1677). To make the Bhäqyas more latollegible from the
