VOLUMÉ V.
Volume V describes in detail the manuscripts 'on Sranta prayoga, numbering 420 (Nos. 2857-2796). The manuscripts described belong to the three schools of Ābyalāyana, Āpastamba and Bodhayana.

These are followed by the description of certain metrical works, technically called Srauta Kärikäs. They summarise the procedure to be adopted in the performance of the various sacrifices.
Manuscripts dealing with the expiatory ceremonies (Prayas. cittas) are dealt with next. Most of these expiatory ceremonies are, it may be observed, in the forn of iqtis. Other miscellansons iqi-prayogas are described in detail after the prayabcittas. The volume concludes with the description of the manuscripts dealing with the various Sastras.
