VOLUME I. Volume I describes in detail the Samhitãs of the four Vedas and the bhāgyas thereon. There are 696 Mss. dealing with the Samhitās of the four Vedas. Along with the Rg-Vedasambiti the Rg-Vedic Miscellaneous Sūktas, the Rg-Vedasambitänukramaņikás and Rg-Veda padapāthas are also noticed. Similarly, along with the Sāmavedasambita, the Sāmavedapadapāthas, the Sime. vedagānas and their Anukramaņikās are described. After the Samhitās of the four Vedas the Sapphitābhāgyas (No8. 697-697) are noticed. This completes Volume I.
VOLUME II. The Second Volume begins with the Brābmagas belonging to the various Vedas. Nos. 698-828 describe the Brāhmanal. The Brāhmanabbáqyas are then noticed (Nos. 829-859). After the various Brahmarabhaqyas, the Ārapyakas are described (Nos. 860 -898). The Upanigads are then dealt with (Nos. 899—- 1420), They are classified according to the Veda to which they are attached, aß is described in detail in the Muktikopanipad. Those that are not mentioned in the Muktikopaniqad are grouped under the genoral beading · Miscellaneous Upanigads. Nos. 1421-1426 deal with a few Miscellaneous items belonging to the Brāhmaṇas and Upaniqada. Here ends the Second Volume.
