Among the works of Nilakantha Dikaite that have come down to us, the following sre preserved in this library.
1. Sivalslärņava (Nos. 3798 39.) 2. Kalividambana (Nos. 3924-28.) 8. Anyápadebagataka (No. 3988.) 4. Sabbärañjana (No. 8967) 5. Säntivlläse (Nos. 3852-54) 6. Nilakantha vijayaca in pūļ (Nos. 4052-58) 7. Gaigivataraṇam (No. 3787)
Of these, the last work was composed in A. D. 1889. We know froro other sources that he was the pupil of Venkatesyara Dikgita, son of Govinda Dikrita of Tanjore,
SANKARŞANA.
Sankaruana is the author of the Satyanáthábhyudaya, described under No. 3740. Particulars regarding the date and aativity of the author are lacking.
In No. 8141 a commentary on the Satyanathabhyudaya is described. The commentator is Subrahmanyacārya.
APPAYYA DĪKȘITA,
It is generally believed that Appayya flourished between 1664 and 1628 A, D. The two articles in the Journal of Oriental Research (Vols, II & III) show that the date of this great scholar should be shifted back by about 30 years at least. His Harivampiasüracaritavyäkbyā is preserved in this library. The original Text is not available at present.
