as Candrikā.--a commentary on the Agnipomakalpa

ends in the middle of the commentary on the ninth Khanda of the eighth Prašna. The other works contained in this Ms. are:

(Tasteistaislegi) 11 The author of this commentary on Bodbāyanāgniomakalpa is Bālādikoita, otherwise known as Yajñeśrera, son of Subrahmaqya and grandson of Vibyapati of Sāhajirâjapura or the modern Tiruvišanalloor near Kumbakonam. According to the introductory verses given above, this Vibyapati is said to be the elder brother of Vasudeva dikşita (the author of Bodháyapágnicayanavyākhyā-No. 2064) and the son of Adhvaryu Mahadevavā japeyin (the author of Bodhāyanaśrautasūtravștti--Subodhini. No. 2060), who flourished during the reign of king Sābaji in Taujore between 1684–1710 A. D.
