Gives astronomical tables for finding out the position of the five planets Mars, Meroury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn in their movoments through the signs of the Zodiao. The author is Bhairava of Varanāsi family and of Hārītagõtra. He was a resident of Pithāpura. He lived after Kali 4968 (1866 A.D).
Date of copying: Tuesday, the first day of the dark fortnight of the Sravana month in the year Prajotpatti. Name of the copyist : Cinta. mani Raghunāthācāryar of Cennapatnam. Beginning:
वन्दे श्रीदक्षिणामूर्ति वटमूलनिवासिनम् । चिन्मुद्राकलितं शान्तं चिदानन्दमहं शिवम् ॥ राजराजेश्वरीयुक्तं राजराजज्जटावलिम् । पीठिकापुरवास्तव्यं कुक्कुटेशमहं भजे ॥ तत्राभूभुवनप्रसिद्धयशसां ब्रह्मत्मना पश्यतां साङ्गान् वेदगणानधीत्य विदितं कर्मानिशं कुर्वताम् । पुंसां श्रीहरिताख्यगोत्रजनुषां श्रीवारणास्याये वंशे पण्डितभूसुरोत्तमनुतो रत्नाकरोऽहं बुधः ॥
