Sitaparinaya is a poem on the marriage of Sita with Rama, the hero of the Rāmāyaṇa. The poem is written in a simple and beautiful style and imitates the Raghuvamsa. The author as well as the commentator is Suryanarayanadhvarin. He is said to have been a native of the Salem district and flourished about two-hundred years ago.
