This work consists of a little more than one thousand stanzas and is in praise of the sandals of God Ranganatha worshipped in Śrīrangam. By Vēdāntadēsika. According to tradition, this work is said to have been composed in a single night and is the outcome of a competition with a scholar and poet named Vadikēsarin. The full name of the work is Ranganathapadukäsahasra, but it is wellknown as Padukāsahasra.
