A DESCRIPTIVE CATALOGUE OF
एकदन्तं शूर्पकर्ण गजवक्रं चतुर्भुजम् । पाशाङ्कुशधरं देवं ध्यायेत्सिद्धिविनायकम् ॥ ध्यानम् ।
विघ्नराज नमस्तेऽस्तु गौरीमलसमुद्भव ।
इमां मया कृतां पूजां गृह्णीप्व सुरसत्तम ॥ आवाहनम् ।
भास्वद्रत्नप्रभाभिश्च जयकर्पूरचन्दनैः ।
नीराजयामि विश्वेश भक्ताभीष्टपरो (प्रदो भव || नीराजनम् । गणानां त्वा गणपतिं हवामह इति मन्त्रपुष्पम् ।
आखुवाहन देवेश विश्वरूपधराय च ।
प्रदक्षिणं करोमि त्वां मम त्वं सन्ति तो ( न्निधौ ) भव !! प्रदक्षिणम् ।

Wants beginning.
This Vrata consists in the worship of Visnu for five days commencing from the eleventh day of the bright fortnight in the month of Margasira or better in the month in which the asterism Śravana is associated with the full moon or the twelfth day of the bright fortnight. This is to be observed on the corresponding five days of every bright fortnight, for a period of one year. Those that observe this are considered to be able to obtain salvation.

सर्वेषामाश्रमाणां च पुराणश्रुतिचोदितम् । द्वापरान्ते महाराजः कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ||
सह धर्मात्मा द्रोणं भीमं तथा गुरून् । पुत्रान् पौत्रान् तथा भ्रातृन् अन्यानपि महीपतीन् ||
