On the manner of completing the Tulasīvrata, the ceremonies connected therewith being performed on the eleventh day of the bright fortnight in the month of Kārttika. Beginning : (व्यासः)
त्वत्प्रसादान्मया ब्रह्मन् ज्ञातञ्च तुळवितम् ।
इदानीं कृपया ब्रूहि व्रतोद्यापनमुत्तमम् ।। ब्रह्मोवाच-.
शृणु व्यास प्रवक्ष्यामि व्रतस्योद्यापनक्रमम् । कृते चोद्यापने तत्र फलं हि विपुलं भवेत् ॥ उद्यापनं विना तस्य फलं हि विफलं भवेत् ।
कार्तिके मासि संप्राप्ते शुक्लपक्षे हरेर्दिने ।।
तुलसीप्रतिमां कृत्वा काञ्चनेन चतुर्भुजाम् ।। End:
ततस्तु स्वजनैस्सद्भिः भोक्तव्यं हृष्टमानसैः ।
ततस्तु कामं संलभ्य परां सिद्धिमवाप्स्यसि ॥ Colophon:
